How a San Francisco Law School Surveys Students

Golden Gate University School of Law, part of GGU in San Francisco with over 700 law students, needed reliable graduate outcome data to satisfy ABA accreditation reporting. Associate Dean Bob Pimm struggled with paper surveys that produced handwriting errors, required time‑consuming manual data entry, and felt longer than necessary because many questions applied only to some respondents — so the school turned to Jotform and its online form capabilities (including conditional logic).

Jotform built an online survey using conditional logic so graduates only see questions relevant to them, producing a cleaner, shorter form that’s easier to complete. The Jotform solution cut down on misinterpreted handwritten answers and manual data‑entry work, speeding up reporting and allowing Pimm’s team to spend less time on administration and more on serving students and meeting ABA requirements.
