How a Growing Language School Enrolls New Students

LanguageBird, founded by Dr. Karyn Koven, is a fully accredited, one-to-one online language school offering 11 languages. Facing the need to enroll students without hiring developers or wrestling with complex software, LanguageBird required an easy-to-edit online enrollment system that could collect detailed student and parent information and accept tuition payments. To solve this, they turned to Jotform’s form-building tools and its Stripe integration.

LanguageBird implemented a Jotform-powered enrollment form on their site that captures prior coursework, scheduling preferences, parent e-signatures, and accepts tuition (full year, semester, or package) via Stripe, plus coupon codes for promotions. Using Jotform allowed the team to make edits themselves and streamline enrollment; as a result LanguageBird now enrolls about 200 students, has over 100 alumni, and has expanded its administrative staff — outcomes the school attributes in part to Jotform’s solution.
