A Jostle Corporation Case Study
Omicron Canada Inc., a 150‑person real estate development, design and construction firm operating from Vancouver, Victoria and Calgary (plus 20+ construction sites), completed an 18‑month rebrand and faced a new challenge: unify a geographically dispersed, matrix‑structured organization around a single culture and purpose. With little face‑to‑face interaction, no shared brand language and no inclusive company channel, leadership set out to “build a community” so employees and clients would experience the firm’s new promise, “A Better Way.”
Omicron adopted the Jostle intranet, rolled it out with an eight‑week excite/welcome/engage/embrace campaign and encouraged grassroots use through ambassadors and editorial planning. Results after three years include ~68% weekly and ~88–90% monthly participation, stronger connections between office and site teams, regular project and people storytelling, centralized LIBRARY and PEOPLE directories, reduced internal email clutter, higher efficiency and engagement, and a visible, living set of brand principles that improved onboarding, recognition and Omicron’s employer reputation.
