Per Scholas is a U.S. nonprofit that provides tuition-free IT training and professional development; the organization has 76 staff across six locations and has trained over 5,400 students. Rapid national growth exposed weaknesses in their home-built Google Sites intranet, which became a static content repository, left staff disconnected (New York–centric), and failed to support cross-site collaboration or a consistent corporate culture.

Per Scholas replaced Intranet 1.0 with Jostle’s People Engagement platform, rolled it out with training and launch events, and gave employees immediate access to collaborative features. Within weeks the intranet became a dynamic hub: participation jumped to 91% weekly (100% monthly), information and intellectual property flowed more freely, cross-site projects and discussions increased, and a stronger sense of community and purpose emerged.
