This often resulted in a time-consuming "referral roundabout." To solve this, CLWA worked with vendor Josef to create the Online Referral Tool.

Using Josef's no-code automation, CLWA built a bot that asks users about their demographics and legal issues to accurately refer them to one of 26 community legal centres. This Josef-powered solution reduced the time staff spent on the phone providing basic information and created a better, more accessible experience for users. The tool is a key part of CLWA's effort to increase access to justice, serving their estimated 20,000+ annual users more effectively.
