How Kiloutou is fully automating its material return process

Kiloutou Group, a French equipment rental company, faced the challenge of allowing its customers to return rented materials at any time without being constrained by agency opening hours. They partnered with vendor Joonbot to implement an automated, frictionless return system.

The solution from Joonbot used a chatbot to create an instant reservation system. Customers access the chatbot via a QR code or phone number on a return box, which guides them through a simple process to book a box and receive an opening code. This fully automated system improved customer satisfaction by enabling 24/7 returns and reduced the workload for Kiloutou's team members, who could now verify box contents and plan retrievals in real-time via an Airtable dashboard.
