Sycamore Engineering, founded in 1960, provides mechanical, electrical and plumbing services plus sheet metal, controls and MEP design-build work. As the company grew, they struggled with paper-based field timecards and service tickets, slow billing and limited operational visibility—needs their existing Jonas accounting setup (a partner since 2000) didn’t fully address.

Sycamore expanded Jonas with FieldTime, eMobile, EBI and Document Management, enabling mobile time-entry and invoicing, real‑time reporting and a paperless AP process. Results included elimination of handwritten timecards, over 100 driving hours saved per month, faster billing and fewer errors, acceptance of field payments, more than 2,000 invoices digitized monthly (freeing 1,000 sq ft), and overall reduced overhead and increased onsite productivity.
