Powell Contracting, a Southern Ontario contractor founded in 1967 that installs and services temporary concrete barriers, signs and related infrastructure, struggled as it expanded through acquisitions. Using Sage 300 and a non-construction scheduler, the company relied on hand-written work orders, duplicated time entry, weak job-costing and lacked multi-company/inter-company functionality—limiting visibility into project profitability and slowing operations.

Implementing Jonas’ integrated construction solution — including Dispatch Scheduler, Payroll, Job Costing and Project Management — eliminated paper tickets and double entry, made dispatching twice as fast, and delivered granular job-cost visibility that improved margins.
