Bruin’s Plumbing & Heating Ltd., a family-owned plumbing, gas and HVAC contractor founded in 1965 in Red Deer with about 65 employees, had been running Jonas Enterprise on-premise since 2008. As IT was a one‑person shop, server administration ate into other IT work (about two hours daily plus monthly and quarterly after-hours updates), they were running out of storage, faced searchability issues across two servers, and were vulnerable to ransomware and business interruption.

In February 2020 Bruin’s migrated to Jonas Cloud, removing on‑premise servers and shifting updates and maintenance to Jonas’ team. The move restored IT time (roughly two hours daily, eight hours monthly and two hours quarterly), eliminated storage limits, sped up inventory searches (with a 30,000‑part database), cut new‑user deployment from about four hours to minutes, improved eMobile adoption and remote access, and delivered stronger security and operational resilience.
