Financial Planning Association of Australia tracks CPD credits for 13,000 members with Jomablue

The Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) faced a challenge accurately tracking member attendance and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits at its annual Professionals Congress. Using paper sign-in sheets, they had no verifiable way of knowing which workshops over 13,000 members actually attended, leading to unreliable data and costly administration. The FPA partnered with event management vendor Jomablue to implement a digital solution.

Jomablue provided a platform featuring e-tickets, smart badges, and session management to track entry and exit for each workshop. This solution automatically recorded CPD credits and fed the data into the FPA's system to generate certificates. As a result, the FPA gained accurate, verifiable attendance data for the first time, eliminated manual processing, and was able to provide exhibitors with measurable engagement metrics.
