A Johnson Controls Case Study

Preview of the Singapore Airlines Case Study

Singapore Airlines - Customer Case Study

Singapore Airlines, one of the world’s leading carriers, needed to strengthen security across multiple sites at Changi Airport while supporting a “zero lapses” policy. To address this challenge, Johnson Controls provided the CEM AC2000 SE access control system, along with S600s intelligent card readers, as the foundation for a more secure and integrated building security environment.

Johnson Controls implemented a fully integrated solution that linked access control with Singapore Airlines’ SAP HR system, visitor management, and CCTV/DVR platforms, while also supporting DESFire smart cards, fingerprint biometrics, and dual redundant servers. The result was a high-security, scalable “one card” platform with improved operational efficiency, instant card issuance, and a clear migration path from MiFare to DESFire technology, with plans to roll out the system globally.
