Riverside Quarter, a luxury mixed-use residential development in Wandsworth, London, needed an HVAC and fire protection piping solution that could be installed safely and quickly while meeting tight construction deadlines. Johnson Controls, through its GRINNELL grooved mechanical products, supplied a grooved end piping system for the project.

Johnson Controls delivered flexible grooved couplings and fittings, control valves, and suction diffusers, along with technical support from design through installation, including Revit objects, material take-offs, and expansion and thrust calculations. The grooved solution reduced hot works, improved site safety, sped up installation, and helped keep costs and delays down, supporting the on-time delivery of 326 apartments across four buildings.
