Miller Park - Customer Case Study

Miller Park, home of the Milwaukee Brewers, needed a way to keep fans comfortable and safe while improving stadium performance and efficiency in a large, flexible venue that hosts baseball games, concerts, and other events. Johnson Controls supported the stadium from design through ongoing operations, using its Metasys building management system along with HVAC, lighting, security, and fire alarm controls to help manage the complex facility.

Johnson Controls implemented integrated building automation, commissioning support, and long-term facilities management to optimize comfort and reduce energy use across Miller Park’s 1.2 million square feet. The system helped lower first-year utility costs despite higher natural gas prices, enabled individualized control of luxury suites and consistent seating bowl temperatures, and supported better event cost recovery through utility monitoring. The result was a more comfortable fan experience, improved operational efficiency, and a stronger environment for attendance and revenue growth.
