Lake Forest High School - Customer Case Study

Lake Forest High School needed a powerful, easy-to-use video surveillance solution that would let staff quickly search footage, improve campus safety, and reduce incidents such as theft, fighting, bullying, and fire alarm pranks. Johnson Controls, through the exacqVision video management system, helped address these security and operational challenges on the school’s large, historic campus.

Johnson Controls implemented exacqVision VMS software on Dell PowerEdge servers with PowerVault storage, 89 IP cameras, and Cisco Catalyst switches, giving the school over 100 camera views with fast access for approved users on both PC and Mac. The system deterred incidents on campus, helped identify suspects, reduced time spent investigating claims, and even supported non-security uses like traffic pattern review, maintenance oversight, and athletics analysis.
