Denison State Bank - Customer Case Study

Denison State Bank, headquartered in Holton, Kansas, needed a modern video surveillance system to replace aging time-lapse VCRs and better protect customers, employees, and assets across its five branches. The bank wanted a solution that could support both existing analog cameras and new high-resolution megapixel IP cameras while remaining easy for branch staff to use. Johnson Controls provided the exacqVision Hybrid video management system and software to meet those needs.

Johnson Controls’ exacqVision Hybrid Servers and VMS software were installed across the bank’s branches, managing 22 analog and 8 three-megapixel IP cameras connected over the bank’s MPLS WAN. The solution gave branch managers local access to their own cameras and headquarters-wide visibility for live and recorded video, while also making it easy to search, export, and burn footage to DVD or USB for police investigations. As a result, Denison State Bank improved security, streamlined incident review, and strengthened its ability to identify and apprehend suspects, helping reduce crime.
