Best Western PLUS Clocktower Inn, a 131-room hotel in Billings, Montana, needed a discreet way to secure its parking areas, lobby, street-facing areas, and staff patrol routes while also supporting future expansion. Johnson Controls, through its Tyco Security Products portfolio, supplied exacqVision and Illustra video surveillance technology to address the hotel’s first-ever security camera deployment.

Johnson Controls and integrator TCT implemented Illustra Pro 3MP Mini-Dome cameras and an exacqVision A-Series Network Video Recorder, giving the property scalable coverage, easy video review, and support for up to 64 cameras. The system improved security in the Big Sky parking garage and other key areas, while also delivering operational benefits such as training, quality control, and assistance with police investigations. The hotel plans to expand the system further across additional parking and perimeter areas.
