Rio Grande Enhances Inventory Management with John Galt

Rio Grande, a family‑owned Albuquerque–based industrial distributor serving the jewelry industry, needed to automate demand planning and inventory management and gain end‑to‑end supply chain visibility. Working with John Galt Solutions and deploying the Atlas Planning Suite (Demand Management Engine and Inventory Management Module), Rio Grande moved from weekly to daily inventory position updates to better respond to demand.

John Galt Solutions implemented the Atlas modules to produce forecasted demand, balance inventory to that demand, and alert analysts to exceptions and variances while automating purchasing and exception management. As a result, Rio Grande gained daily visibility, reduced inventory levels, experienced fewer stock‑outs, and improved customer service by proactively positioning supply to meet demand.
