Murray Feiss’s Inventory Turn Increases 20 Percent, Distribution-Fill Rate Rises 10 Percent

Murray Feiss, a New York–based lighting, furniture and decorative accessories company with more than 1,000 employees, struggled with time-consuming manual forecasting and lacked a centralized demand-management process and point-of-sale visibility to support Sales & Operations Planning. To address this, Murray Feiss began working with John Galt Solutions, first using ForecastX Wizard to improve forecasting accuracy and speed for new and low-data products within Excel.

John Galt Solutions then implemented the Atlas Planning Suite’s Demand Management Engine to provide a central data repository, pull POS data from major customers, and allow flexible slicing of forecast and demand data across the supply chain. As a result, Murray Feiss gained end-to-end visibility, improved collaboration, increased inventory turns by up to 20 percent and raised distribution fill rate by 10 percent, with the John Galt Solutions services team playing a key role in the rollout.
