Generation Brands, a New York–based lighting, furniture, and decorative accessories company with more than 1,000 employees, faced the challenge of automating forecasting and demand management and centralizing data to ingest point-of-sale information from major customers. After using John Galt Solutions’ ForecastX Wizard in Excel, they selected John Galt Solutions’ Atlas Planning Suite to provide a more robust S&OP platform and flexible forecasting controls.

John Galt Solutions implemented the Atlas Planning Suite’s Demand Management Engine to give Generation Brands end-to-end visibility from POS to overseas suppliers, enable parameter-driven forecasts, and support a collaborative S&OP process. The solution increased inventory turns by up to 20% and raised the distribution fill rate by 10%, while simplifying the use of external data and reducing manual forecasting effort.
