John Brown Media implemented a weekly-updated, mobile-first site backed by social campaigns, email marketing and interactive features (Storify, polls, live discussions). Since the 2012 relaunch the site saw a 116% rise in visitors, an email redesign delivered an 80% traffic uplift, one article reached 250,000 Twitter users via retweets, and a budget “tweetathon” reached 91,978 people, demonstrating clear engagement and traffic gains.
