Allegheny Health Network (AHN), a seven-hospital system with about 17,000 employees, faced recruiting challenges from highly specialized hiring needs, an outdated paper-based applicant tracking process and limited reporting — a “post and pray” approach that left many roles unfilled and stretched time-to-hire to roughly 120 days. Leadership needed a centralized, easy-to-use system to scale recruiting, improve candidate management and meet regulatory compliance.
AHN implemented Jobvite’s suite (Refer, Engage, Hire) to enable CRM-driven sourcing, employee referrals, social outreach, paperless workflows and flexible reporting. The platform rolled out quickly across the organization, cut time-to-hire by about 66% (to 35–40 days), improved compliance and custom reporting, enhanced the candidate experience, and reduced overtime and agency costs.
