PaR Systems, a Minnesota-based provider of specialized material handling and automation equipment for aerospace, defense and other critical markets, needed an ERP that could handle its engineer-to-order (ETO) project manufacturing model and unique, one-off government contracts. PaR Systems has relied on Jobscope’s JOBSCOPE government contractor ERP software for more than 20 years to support its project-oriented workflows across engineering, manufacturing and materials management.

Jobscope implemented its JOBSCOPE ERP configured around project manufacturing to run engineering, estimating, purchasing, shop-floor control, scheduling and invoicing for users at five PaR Systems locations (engineering alone accounts for more than 70 users). The system provides real-time project cost and status visibility, supports 80–90% one-time builds, and has enabled PaR Systems to run a leaner operation with improved scheduling, materials management, planning, warehousing and shipping—reducing overhead and avoiding additional support staff as the company has grown.
