A JobRouter Case Study
KNUTH Machine Tools, a global manufacturer of machine tools and accessories, faced persistent challenges getting complete, correct and timely technical documentation from international suppliers (many in the Far East) and needed to modernize invoice handling. To address multilingual documentation delays, version control and auditability — plus the goal of electronic invoice processing — KNUTH selected the JobRouter digital process automation platform.
JobRouter implemented automated, web-based documentation workflows (including a supplier upload portal), traceable versioning and ERP/CRM integrations (APplus and Salesforce), and electronic invoicing using the JobFerd module with ZUGFeRD/XML and OCR capture for incoming invoices. As a result, manual document searches and data entry were eliminated, staff were productive after two days of training and the e-invoice flow was testable in two–three weeks; invoices are now processed more quickly and with fewer errors, archival and access are auditable, and cross-department coordination has measurably improved thanks to JobRouter.
