Walker Gas Services (Walker Gas), a Scotland-based provider of central heating, gas, plumbing and emergency services, needed a better way to manage its end-to-end work cycle — from call logging and job scheduling through to invoicing — and to gain real-time control over a large mobile workforce and high volumes of outsourced work. To address this, Walker Gas began using Joblogic in 2006 and adopted Joblogic Mobile in 2009 to connect field engineers and office staff.

Joblogic delivered an integrated solution (Joblogic Mobile and TrakLogic) that lets engineers use PDAs to capture timesheets, job notes, photos, signatures and bespoke forms (e.g., Landlord’s Gas Safety Certificates), while providing real-time job status and fleet visibility. As a result, Joblogic eliminated paperwork, reduced office trips, sped up invoicing, enabled automatic emailing of safety certificates on job completion, and improved handling of 300–400 Homeserve jobs per month — increasing operational efficiency and cash flow.
