Richard Childress Racing (RCR), a leading NASCAR team, faced tight deadlines, frequent design revisions, and complex parts management that had been handled manually on whiteboards. To improve scheduling, programming and inventory visibility, RCR has used JobBOSS since 2006—leveraging JobBOSS scheduling plus its Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) module to coordinate machines, programming and materials across the shop.

JobBOSS automated programming schedules and centralized alloy and part data with its MRP, replacing time-consuming manual processes and enabling same-day new-part completions. As a result, RCR expanded capabilities and output—growing from about 2,000 to 3,500 unique part numbers over seven years, scaling support from 3 to 11 shops, responding to material queries in seconds, and supplying parts to partner teams—demonstrating measurable operational gains driven by JobBOSS.
