Patriot Pool & Spa, founded in 2006 by Hal Denbar in Austin, Texas, faced the challenge of scaling a single-location pool service and repair business while maintaining high customer-service standards. Running the company on pen and paper made scheduling, communication, and detailed client notes inefficient as the business expanded and a dedicated repair division was added.
In 2014 Hal implemented Jobber’s CRM and field tools to centralize client information, scheduling, photos, invoicing and team communications. The result: the company grew from about 4 to 35 employees (on track to 50), cut back-office time by 1–2 hours per day, reduced communication touchpoints from ten to one, and achieved roughly 875% growth in under five years, becoming one of the largest single-location pool service providers in America.
