Firebrand Apprenticeships, the UK’s only accelerated Trailblazer IT apprenticeship provider, faced high‑volume national recruitment (typically 30–60 applicants per vacancy) and lengthy phone screening (about 45 minutes per candidate). To avoid losing strong applicants and to find apprentices with the right personality and IT interest more quickly, Firebrand adopted Jobatar Video Interviewing.
Jobatar Video Interviewing replaced slow phone screens with on‑demand video screening so candidates could demonstrate communication and personality beyond their CVs. Using Jobatar, Firebrand now screens around four to five candidates per hour (versus ~45 minutes per phone screen), dramatically reducing screening time and helping them put the best candidates forward to employers.
