A Joan Case Study
The University of Melbourne, a large campus with 48,000 students and 8,000 employees, faced confusion around meeting room bookings, room availability, and general campus scheduling. To reduce this day-to-day friction, the university turned to Joan’s meeting room management and classroom display solution, using digital signage at room entrances to make space status visible when needed.
Joan implemented 92 Joan Executive devices and four Joan Classroom units across the university, giving staff and students real-time visibility into meetings, timetables, and room availability. The solution helped resolve clashes, discourage room squatting, improve space utilization, and bring more order to campus operations, with installation described as very easy and completed in about a fortnight.
