The Football Federation of Australia (FFA), headquartered in Sydney, manages more than 200 employees and casual staff across a busy office with around 50 daily appointments. To keep up with its flexible meeting spaces — including rooms divided by movable glass partitions — FFA needed a better way to handle room booking, wayfinding, and scheduling than its printed daily paper schedules.

FFA implemented Joan’s digital meeting room booking system, installing Joan devices in each adaptable meeting room. Joan provided real-time schedules, glass-surface mounting without wires, and a “check into meeting” feature that automatically cancels unused bookings, helping FFA reduce paper waste, avoid no-shows, and better manage office space and resources.
