To showcase a modern, responsive office, Microsoft adopted Joan’s Meeting Room Assistant — Joan’s digital room‑scheduling solution designed to integrate with existing tools like Office 365 and Microsoft Azure.
Joan was deployed as a connected door label and scheduling hub, linked to Microsoft Office 365 calendars and optionally hosted on Microsoft Azure. The onboarding was fast and simple — Microsoft IT reported the “whole setup only took a few minutes” — and Joan’s Dashboard plus cross‑device booking (desktop, mobile or at the room) delivered a real‑time, always‑accurate overview of room resources, creating a more agile, productive and cost‑effective meeting environment.
