How Joan helps Zavo make every room count

Zavo, a large public school in Belgium, needed a better way to manage scarce meeting and shared spaces across eight buildings as enrollment grew to about 3,000 students and hundreds of staff. With only four IT personnel supporting the whole organization, the school was looking for a simple room booking solution that worked with Google Workspace and let users reserve rooms on the spot without heavy IT involvement. Joan 6 was introduced to help address this challenge.

Joan implemented its room management displays to show room availability, enable quick “occupied” or booking actions, and sync directly with Google Calendar. The solution gave Zavo an easy-to-use, low-maintenance system that required minimal onboarding and no extra software, helping the school reduce room confusion and interruptions. As a result, Zavo was able to better utilize every room and space, making the most of its limited real estate with Joan.
