Wake Tech students gain the right tools for the job
Wake Technical Community College needed to strengthen its Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt training so students could better use data-driven methods to improve workplace processes and boost employability. JMP statistical discovery software from SAS was chosen to give Wake Tech students a visual, practical way to analyze problems, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate results.
JMP helped Wake Technical Community College deliver interactive Lean Six Sigma instruction using tools such as control charts, capability analyses, Gauge R&R studies, and Pareto plots. The impact was immediate: after the third session of the first Green Belt class, four of seven unemployed students found jobs, and the program grew as interest in the training increased.
