A JMP Case Study
The University of Hyogo’s Graduate School of Applied Informatics needed a faster way to extract meaningful insights from large, complex survey datasets used in social systems engineering research. To support students and researchers working on policy, economics, local commerce, and public planning, the school relied on JMP to analyze data without the heavy programming burden of other tools.
Using JMP, the University of Hyogo enabled researchers to clean, visualize, and analyze survey results more efficiently, including conjoint analysis for citizen preference studies. The approach helped the team validate survey methods, clarify preference structures, and advance research that supports better local policy and organizational management, with JMP playing a key role in ongoing and future projects.
