A JMP Case Study
Saint-Gobain NorPro, a long-time manufacturer of engineered ceramic media and shapes, was facing a persistent quality issue tied to a supplier’s raw material that had resisted resolution for decades. Using JMP, the company’s quality team set out to uncover the root cause and better understand the relationship between raw-material variables and final product quality.
With JMP Profiler and scripting, Saint-Gobain NorPro built a predictive model, identified two interacting raw-material quality parameters, and shared an interactive file with its supplier to guide adjustments. The approach solved the long-standing problem, enabled tighter specifications, and let the team pull and analyze years of data in seconds—turning hours of work into rapid, visual answers.
