NYU Abu Dhabi’s research team was challenged by extremely large, complex datasets tied to malaria transmission, including human, parasite, and environmental data. Using JMP Genomics with SAS, the team needed a way to better manage genomic profiling, statistical analysis, and quality control across massive volumes of DNA, RNA, microRNA, and epigenetic markers.

JMP implemented JMP Genomics workflows and graphical features that streamlined quality control, association mapping, eQTL analysis, mixed models, and exploratory analysis. As a result, NYU Abu Dhabi researchers were able to work faster, spot hidden patterns more easily, and make discoveries that could help control—and possibly eradicate—malaria.
