Soitec, a world leader in semiconductor materials, needed to improve the yield and quality of its high-volume product lines while meeting extremely strict quality requirements. The company had been using a statistical tool that was slow, limited on larger data volumes, and lacked some tests needed for process improvement, so it turned to JMP from JMP to better support its manufacturing and quality teams.

JMP implemented a standard, easy-to-use platform for data visualization, process analysis, and statistical testing. As a result, Soitec reduced data retrieval and analysis from up to three or four hours to just a few minutes, expanded use of JMP to more than 300 employees, improved productivity and customer satisfaction, and strengthened its continuous improvement efforts.
