A JMP Case Study
Kodak’s Leeds, UK manufacturing team needed a better way to apply Lean Six Sigma and monitor cycle times across complex production operations. Using JMP statistical software, Kodak aimed to analyze large volumes of process data, identify bottlenecks, and reduce waste in its lithographic plate production.
Kodak implemented JMP to consolidate, visualize, and report cycle-time data, with the JMP Distribution platform and Graph Builder helping the team spot delays and discrepancies quickly. As a result, Kodak cut monthly data-analysis time from two days to less than one hour and reduced non-value-added production time by about half, while also uncovering bottlenecks and significant differences in lead times across product families.
