Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences - Customer Case Study

Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences, where Professor David Meintrup teaches statistics to engineering and physical science students, wanted to make applied statistics more engaging and practical for learners who were often new to the subject. To do this, he used JMP Statistical Discovery from SAS to bring data-driven decision-making into the classroom and connect lessons to real-world problems and industry-relevant applications.

JMP helped Meintrup deliver hands-on, visual, and interactive lessons using case studies and student-relevant data in computer labs. The result was stronger statistical skills and better preparation for the workforce, with students gaining the ability to use applied statistics, data mining, and design of experiments in any industry.
