Case Study: Shibaura Institute of Technology achieves accessible, engaging statistics education with JMP Pro

Empowering future educators with statistics savvy

The Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) wanted new and innovative ways to introduce future teachers to statistical analysis. To support that challenge, SIT adopted JMP Pro, giving faculty and students unlimited access to the statistical discovery software for teacher training and coursework.

With JMP, SIT launched hands-on summer courses and made JMP Pro the universitywide standard for statistics education, helping students and faculty use it for everything from basic exercises to graduate research. The result was broader adoption across the university and a more accessible, engaging way to teach statistics to future educators, with about 80 students and faculty participating in the program.
