A JMP Case Study
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment needed a better way to piece together fragmented electronic medical records and laboratory reports to find people living with HIV who had fallen out of care. The department faced data-quality issues, duplicate records, and gaps across multiple providers, and turned to JMP to help analyze and clean the data.
Using JMP, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment matched, deduplicated, and visualized patient data to track the HIV care continuum and alert social workers when patients needed follow-up. JMP was described as indispensable for data cleaning, quality control, reporting, and record linkage, helping improve care retention and support the broader goal of reducing new HIV infections.
