ASM International, a global manufacturer of wafer processing technologies, needed a better way to help customers meet demand for ever-smaller, higher-performance devices at a competitive price. As an engineering-driven organization, ASM wanted to improve experimentation, product development, and process understanding using statistical methods and JMP software.

JMP helped ASM standardize automated analyses, strengthen data gathering and analysis, and apply tools like Custom Design, Fit Model, and simulators to model performance and test “what if” scenarios.
