Elanco, a global animal health company, needed a better way to analyze data from more than 500,000 chickens and turn farm visit findings into practical recommendations. Working with JMP and Process Insight Consulting, Elanco veterinarians and consultants aimed to uncover meaningful patterns in health, genetic, dietary, and environmental data without needing a strong statistics background.

JMP helped Elanco improve data collection, visualization, and sharing through dashboards, graphs, and scripting. The result was faster reporting—monthly reports that once took two to three days now take a couple of hours—and clearer insights that revealed statistically significant links affecting chicken health, including a parasite risk that extended to seven weeks of age. By using JMP, Elanco delivered easier-to-understand guidance to producers and helped improve flock health.
