Citizens (Citizen de Mexico S.A. de C.V.), the Mexican licensee, manufacturer and distributor of Citizen watches, faced field-sales problems: account executives on calls had no near-real-time access to pricing, inventory or account status, which led to frequent back orders, manual rekeying errors and slow order fulfillment. jLan Mobile implemented a route-accounting and mobile sales solution (Windows Mobile devices, barcode scanning, SQL Server Compact/eConnect integration) so orders, inventory and pricing update in near real time and flow directly into Dynamics. The result: back orders fell 25% (about $300,000), order-entry errors dropped 50%, shipping time improved ~60%, and days sales outstanding shortened by five days—significantly speeding order-to-cash, boosting cash flow and improving customer relationships.
