Toshiba America Business Solutions (TABS), the U.S. arm of Toshiba Corporation that handles product planning, marketing, sales and support, was struggling with fragmented communications and lost institutional knowledge. TABS tested and rolled out Jive as Toshiba eXCHANGE, using its PeopleGraph search and recommendation features and an internal promotion campaign to drive adoption. The platform streamlined corporate communication, cut time spent searching for information, improved cross‑department collaboration and helped the sales team close more deals — allowing TABS to maintain high channel support with a smaller staff.
