Jive Helps GoDaddy Increase Employee Engagement by 81%

GoDaddy, a rapidly growing Internet services company with roughly 5,000–10,000 employees, faced a disconnect across its distributed workforce in 2015 and lacked effective tools for communication, collaboration and community-building. Leaders wanted a single, easy-to-use platform to unite employees, surface ideas and reflect the company’s culture, but initial searches for a modern intranet solution came up short.

GoDaddy selected Jive Cloud and launched a company intranet called “The Planet,” powered by Jive’s PeopleGraph search and collaboration features. Within six months the platform hosted more than 11,000 pieces of content and 4 million page views; employee engagement in the customer care group rose 81%. The intranet streamlined onboarding, improved internal communication and made important documents and policies easy to find, helping employees stay connected and contribute ideas.
