Jive community provides connected learning among next generation of business leaders

Northwestern University’s Master of Science in Learning & Organizational Change (MSLOC), led by community strategist Keeley Sorokti, needed a way to extend learning and interaction beyond on‑campus sessions so geographically dispersed students, faculty, staff and alumni could meet, collaborate and network outside formal class groups.

They launched “The Hive,” a Jive‑powered online community with groups, activity streams, discussions and profiles to support collaboration, course discussion and professional networking; the platform enabled rapid onboarding before classes begin, sustained student and alumni engagement, and a stronger, more connected MSLOC learning experience.
