Wave Utilities, a joint venture of Anglian Water Business and Northumbrian Water Group, serves more than 300,000 UK businesses across water, wastewater, gas and electricity. After the companies combined, Wave faced duplicated billing, CRM and service systems, fragmented customer views and time-consuming “death by Excel” manual data loads that caused errors and slowed service.

Wave implemented Jitterbit Harmony to automate nightly ETL from RapidXtra to Salesforce, complete one‑time migrations of contacts and bills, and integrate systems such as Temetra, Parseq, Watermelon, Velocity and its customer portal. The result was fewer systems to maintain, a single view of the customer, less manual entry and better data quality—enabling multiple additional projects (nine and counting) like a bill PDF API, automated reminders and alerting, and a successful joint venture launch.
