Topcon Refocuses Service Department with Salesforce to ServiceMax Integration

Topcon Precision Agriculture, a developer and supplier of diagnostic equipment for the ophthalmic community, was struggling because its legacy ERP system did not connect with Salesforce, making it hard to track loaned devices and verify warranties or service contracts. The company needed a simpler way to connect its sales and support data without adding major technical overhead, so it evaluated integration platforms and selected Jitterbit, along with Salesforce and its ERP environment.

Jitterbit implemented the integrations to connect and automate data across Salesforce, the SQL-based ERP, ServiceMax, and flat files, giving Topcon complete visibility into product, warranty, and service information. As a result, Topcon improved tracking and recovery of sample devices, aligned support with warranty agreements, and eliminated revenue leakage from out-of-warranty service, leading to a “tremendous increase” in service levels and expansion of Jitterbit across new departments and global offices.
