A Jitterbit Case Study
Mophie, the world’s top battery case and North America’s leading portable power manufacturer, was acquired by ZAGG in March 2016 and faced the complex task of merging systems, processes and teams. The IT challenge included migrating from SAP byDesign to Microsoft Great Plains, implementing a new warehouse management system and moving from Salesforce to Zendesk — all of which needed to run side-by-side until a July 1, 2017 cutover.
Mophie deployed Jitterbit Harmony as a single integration backbone to connect legacy and new systems, speeding implementation and testing compared with custom coding and enabling a connectivity-first strategy. The approach saved time and money, smoothed the acquisition transition, became the operational backbone for supply chain and sales, and set the stage to expose real-time APIs for customers and suppliers.
