A Jitterbit Case Study
The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), a global animal‑welfare nonprofit, faced fragmented fundraising systems: online campaigns ran in Salesforce while offline direct‑mail programs used Blackbaud’s Team Approach (Oracle). With no integration, online and offline marketing teams had poor visibility into each other’s activities, leading to duplicated outreach and missed opportunities to coordinate donor communications.
IFAW selected Jitterbit for its flexible connectivity and built‑in Salesforce wizards; a part‑time consultant implemented a bi‑directional sync of contacts and marketing activities (with one‑way opportunity sync to the system of record). As a result, contacts, donation history and marketing activities are visible in both systems, enabling coordinated, targeted campaigns and more effective fundraising — with plans to expand Jitterbit use to file conversions and direct‑debit projects.
